Dead Zone

Summary: The movie starts out like anyother day. Except an evil villian seeks the Dragonballs in order to make a wish. This villian is named Garlic Jr. He has his minions gather the Dragonballs for him. This puts Gohan in danger, due to the fact he has a Dragonball. Ginger and the other minions make quick work of Chi-Chi and the Ox King. This leaves Gohan alone and vulnerable. They take Gohan's Dragonball, along with Gohan! Goku returns from a "fishing trip" to find his family beaten and son taken. Then enraged Goku uses the Dragon Radar to locate Garlic Jr's fortress. Before Goku can arrive, Garlic Jr. uses the Dragonballs to wish for immortality. Goku finally makes it there. He meets up with Kami there. Goku then learns of the reasons of Garlic Jr.'s plan. Garlic, Garlic Jr.'s dad, and Kami competed for the position of the Gardian of the earth long ago. Kami's victory compelled Garlic to unleash an evil army on the earth. Luckily, he, along with his army, was sealed in a dark crystal. Goku then enters the castle and searches for his son. But he has to fight Garlic Jr.'s minions first. These minions have some unusual skills. Such as pulling swords from their bodies. Goku has the advantage in this fight, but he is eventually overwhelmed. Enter Krillin. Krillin aided Goku for a second then was instructed to find Gohan. Piccolo also showed up. He had a score to settle with Garlic Jr.'s minions. Krillin eventually locates Gohan. Goku and Piccolo make short work of the minions together. They must now face Garlic Jr. The now transformed Garlic Jr. is a powerful enemy indeed. Goku and Piccolo think they have won, but it has only began. An enraged Garlic Jr. creates a "dead zone". (Now you know where the title comes from.) It is similar to a black hole. Our heroes struggle not to be engulfed by the void. All hope seems to be lost until a very unlikely hero appears, the child Gohan! Gohan releases his anger on the beast and pushes Garlic Jr. into the dead zone. Goku is amazed by this turn-around. Goku thinks it's a good idea not to tell Chi-Chi that their son saved the world. Well, not yet.
